  • If you love old timey wood roller coasters then you have to check out this classic. It's a bit expensive for one ride but it's worth it.
  • This old roller coaster (opened in 1927) is still an awesome ride. If you don't like the old wooden coasters because you feel they are rickety, then by all means don't ride this coaster. It has the so...  read more »
  • Iconic wooden tracked roller coaster at Coney Island. Back in the day this must have been a really scary ride but I must admit the olde world charm and the clackety clack of the cars on the track stil...  read more »
  • My friend has lived in NYC for 17 years and decided to move away. (Why? How?) I asked what he wanted to do before he left and the Cyclone topped the list. It's always been among my favorite summer-in-Brooklyn experiences and his reviews ring true: "Ooh! Tight fit. People must not have been this well-fed in the 1920s." "Yes!" "The best! THE BEST!" "It never slows down!" Really. He's not wrong.
  • Totally worth the $10. No lines when I went. Fun ride and psychologically thrilling. You feel like you will fly out of your car but you won't. Can't believe it took me 36 years to go there. Don't miss out on it.
  • One of the oldest (if not *the* oldest) wooden roller coasters in the United States. Absolutely worth it. I grew up visiting the Cyclone every summer as a child. You'll never know anything quite like the excitement and fear of riding on the Cyclone :-)
  • My father made a bet with me and my brother Michael. If we go on The Cyclone more than once we can keep the 20 dollars. The year was 1982 I was fifteen my brother was fourteen. We we only The Cyclone 5 times. I love Roller Coster's all kinds of them. I still ride Roller Coster's My favorite is The Coney Island Cyclone. It 's one of the greatest wooden Coster's in The world in my bith place Brooklyn NY.
  • I was like weeeeeeee. My friend was like ahhhhhhhhhh. Afterwards we were like, lets go again!
