  • The Grand Army Plaza reminds me of the Arch of Triumphs in Paris. In 1918 after World World II when the US army returned home, they paraded through the Grand Army Plaza. It is so easy to get to from M...  read more »

  • Great Plaza for Brooklynites surrounded by an entrance to Prospect Park and the Brooklyn Public Library, with a big fountain in the middle. Nice events like a green market every Saturday and food truck rallies in the summer. Lovely to get food and sit by the fountain - the wind often blows the spray around so you can cool off!
  • One of the best places to see in Brooklyn, great place to start with if you want to see Brooklyn. Nice places to eat and getting around is simple because trains and buses run too and from Manhattan.
  • Beautiful arch, beautiful fountain! Fun fact: Gen. Sherman laid the keystone of the arch!
  • Love walking around this area! Very alive and it is a good point to meet in Brooklyn.
  • Looks cooler and bigger than the one in Washington Square Park. Definitely reminds you of a scenery from the arch in Paris.
