  • We went in off season, so we couldn't go on any of the rides. Instead we enjoyed walking the boardwalk and enjoying the wonderful views. Lots of shops nearby and easy access to the subway.
  • If something was missing to NY to be perfect it was a beach 40 minutes by metro. South of Brooklyn Coney Island is a cute Beach and picturesque with a great contrasting back amusement park. It can be reached easily by Metro from Manhattan and is best enjoyed out of the summer or weekend when there are no large crowds of people. We were a sunny autumn Wednesday and enjoyed the beach almost all for us, with the proviso that the amusement park was closed. It has some fast food jobs that make you feel in the fairs of the films. No doubt a respite from the concrete of Manhattan.

  • Park of 95 years. Riding the wooden roller coaster, stroll along the promenade from the sea and walked on the beach. That's great!

  • One of the best spots of America, the best part of Coney Island is always Nathan's Hotdog Eating Contest on the Fourth of July.
  • Love it here! Great beach and lots to do
  • If you are going to Coney, you must stop by here. Visit the museum and see the side show. A real piece of Coney island history.
  • Crowded. Something to see but not a reach long island beach. Head further east.
  • Great beach always alot of people
