Trip Planner:   USA  /  New York State  /  Brooklyn  /  Coney Island
Wander the boardwalk, lounge on the beach, or grab a bite to eat at a waterside cafe when you visit Coney Island. This arts organization on a Brooklyn peninsula hosts museums, arcades, and sideshow-type establishments. Hop on an amusement park ride, like a roller coaster, Ferris wheel, or carousel for a classic regional experience. This conglomeration of beachfront attractions retains its air of nostalgia thanks to the remnants of the tourist industry that powered its development. • I went by subway on Sunday morning. The beach was full of openness and the sea for the first time in a long time, and the weather was good and I was able to relax. The wooden boardwalk is also easy to walk on, and it has an American atmosphere. The city skyline is also good, but the local atmosphere that calms down somewhere is also good. The amusement park is also retro! There are a lot of trains, so it's easy to feel free to do this. You can also swim in the sea!

  • Out of season we find the deserted resort with its old-fashioned charm but also many rather disturbing people. We attended some not very cool scenes at the beach toilets. Not very safe with young children

  • Quiet and clean beach. Not over crowded this time of year. Give Luna Park a visit while you're there or hit up Its Sugar! or Nathan's Famous.
  • A really fun get away from the buzzing city streets. It’s nice to see the ocean when you’re caught up in the city life. Great beach day here, catch a swim or a tan. Come for the ice cream or the fun rides!
  • Has fun rides and extreme ones like the “Luna 360” and how it even has kiddie rides for you and your kids to enjoy it’s cleanliness is not as great but it’s an amazing place to hang with your Family and especially with the Friday Fireworks it’s an amazing place in a place where you won’t really ever know there is an amusement park in
  • The highlight of a trip to Coney Island is Nathan’s. Beside that it’s pretty dirty and way over priced. Looked around at the restaurants and they sounded good with clams and different types of Mexican food, but it all looked too greasy. A ride on the cyclone or wonder wheel would be nice and not that expensive. But beside those bucket list items, this trip is a long train ride from the city and not really worth it
  • This place is so trashy, but so much fun. If the place wasn’t so dirty, I’d give it a 5. 100% worth a visit when in town. It’s got everything from Toms diner, sugar shop, arcades and a load of theme park rides. Just avoid the public toilets at all costs, the worst I’ve ever seen.
