  • Really nice place, that changes the sights and is rather well rooted in the daily lives of New Yorkers! The walls are original and we take a lot of fun to climb them. The staff, but leaves when even quite some freedom. The prices are really affordable. Great place for those who love climbing, or just simply have a good time with your family or friends!

  • Been climbing here on and off for several years. Great space, they mix up routes fairly often, have plenty of space and offer yoga classes too! The "community space" has varied over the years but it's been pretty reliable for studying with climbing breaks, unless there's a big group using the space. Evenings can be packed, but I try and come during off hours, morning or late nights are perfect.
  • the queens facility is like another company compared to this one. The brooklyn facility smells, is not clean, they do not maintain the equipment, nothing is sanitary(i.e. they let people walk in the bathroom with climbing shoes then go climb...), they do not have brushes available for you to clean the mounts you use to climb, and they do not change the routes. Also they do not have enough the v0-v2 routes other than 1 or 2 that exist. Just a beginner climber, but from what i have read and saw online the setters here are not good because the routes do not meld from difficulty to difficulty. enough said, but another nit picky thing is that the staff for the most part is rude/snooty and do not provide any direction/organization for of the events. They also have kids running around unsupervised making it dangerous for you if you accidentally fall off a free wall. Last thing to the staff girl who was climbing on the rope wall ... dont be mad when someone else does it.
  • after reading some reviews and looking at the website I will not be visiting this place. Not even to try it out. They made the price so that people who want to try out climbing have to get a membership for ($100) then pay ($115) for the month. Then get stuck in a contract and can't get out and be committed to pay till your contract runs it course for a year. I call this being a scumbag to your community. I will NEVER EVER support such a system that TRAPS hard working people.
  • It was my first time al BB and i really enjoy it. I would recommend going on a non rush hour to enjoy the whole wall. Nice problems and great staff
  • Oh my God I remember this place we went there with my wife and it was amazing and great exercise
