  • The area and the building are very cute! I recommend going to walk around the place, it is surprising! I am not clear if you can enter, but it is very nice on the outside.

  • Brooklyn Borough Hall is the political center of Kings County. At the southern corner of Cadman Plaza, it is one of the most visible buildings in downtown Brooklyn. Good place for pictures. The park i...  more »

  • The building's interior structure is grand by design. It was once the official location of Brooklyn City Hall before Brooklyn became a member of New York City that now make up the five NYC boroughs. The building is now a public landmark used for office space and events for public and private events. Visitors should schedule tours in advance.
  • I did not go in and only took photos of the building from a nearby park. It's easy on the eye with its beautiful architecture and design.
  • Such an iconic building in the heart of downtown Brooklyn. In one direction is the busy Fulton Mall area, head in a different direction to walk over the Brooklyn Bridge to Manhattan, head in a different direction to walk along the promenade in historical brownstone Brooklyn. On nice days there are chairs and tables right out in front of the steps for people watching, resting or snacking. Most of the stairs will be occupied by people who prefer the taller perch of the steps. They are finally fixing the walkways around the building to reflect its importance to downtown.
  • This is an iconic building, you can sit on the stairs to relax or even take photos of it. Steps away from the fulton mall area and 10 minutes away from the Brooklyn bridge. Overall great looking building on the day time and beautiful on the night time.
  • Great place to start exploring my favorite part of Brooklyn.

Where to stay in Brooklyn

To enjoy views of the Manhattan skyline and have easy foot access to most of the borough's major attractions, stay in Brooklyn's downtown area. The borough's main tourism district, this area offers both luxurious accommodations for visitors wishing to splurge during their stay, as well as more economical lodgings for those traveling on a limited budget. If you don’t mind driving or taking the subway to most tourist sites, consider one of the neighborhoods outside Brooklyn's central area, such as Williamsburg or Prospect Park.
