  • Artist handmade goods can be purchased at affordable prices. Personally I like than the Artists &Fleas SOHO and Chelsea market. Vendors not only into the Brooklyn store, I'm also so many products are readily available. So many hand-made goods in the world Made in NYC one is readily available. It is also bring unusual because many moderately priced trendy New York souvenirs to buy. Vintage, accessories, fashion accessories, accessories, cosmetics and so on time and enjoy shopping. Take-out Cafe, too.

  • This vintage market is pretty cool! I was able to pick up some souvenirs to take home different from usual. The Council also to visit this part of Brooklyn who, in my opinion, is truly distinctive and particular (I've attached two photos). Recommend anyone to go there.

  • I was really disappointed with Artists and Fleas, it is very small, very few vintage shops (I only saw about 3), many vendors sell the same products or style so it is boring, as well as overpriced. Un...  more »

  • A collection of small stalls for artists, craftspeople, and makers. Crowded on the weekends. A variety of wares ranging from jewelry to clothing, men's accessories to scarves, vinyl collections to art to hang in a college apartment. It's all nice enough and there's a nice atmosphere of small business owners who are working hard to get their brands out there. But the range of what's offered isn't much different from what you'd find on Etsy or some similar platform. If you'd like to support the brick and mortar, this is a nice stop to make. If you're doing some shopping for a gift or need something specific, you might or might not find it here. This is a place to browse and make the impulse purchase. There's a good coffee stall.
  • Amazing place to go shop some unique artists and makers items. Most items made locally. Good way to support local small business
  • I really liked all the different vendors with a great assortment of products. Great place to pick up gifts or go during while shopping in the area.
  • Cool spot for any knick knack enthusiast. a decent space with a ton of vendors
  • Really cool hipster-y market. Good coffee available, nice vendors and although it's crowded it's fun even if you're not in the market to buy. Recommended.

Where to stay in Brooklyn

To enjoy views of the Manhattan skyline and have easy foot access to most of the borough's major attractions, stay in Brooklyn's downtown area. The borough's main tourism district, this area offers both luxurious accommodations for visitors wishing to splurge during their stay, as well as more economical lodgings for those traveling on a limited budget. If you don’t mind driving or taking the subway to most tourist sites, consider one of the neighborhoods outside Brooklyn's central area, such as Williamsburg or Prospect Park.
