  • Nice little place with lots of flavors to try, plus a good menu including excellent thin crust pizzas. Not a beet lover? You can certainly get a nice glass of wine if that is your preference.
  • First, let me start off by saying that we did not go here for the beer. We were here for a family meal before the movies. We ordered cheese bread and pizza. I am sorry to say that I am not really a fa...  more »
  • I have worked for Wooden Legs Brewing Company, so I may be biased. I love the beer produced here, along with the staff and atmosphere. They host weekly events, Trivia Tuesday, Wall Street Wednesday, a...  more »

  • We find ourselves going back to woodenleg repeatedly. I like how they integrate themselves into the Brookings community and their pizzas, beer and sandwhiches are fantastic! Trivia night is fun, IF you intend on participating. There are games in the back left corner if you and a group of friends want to make a night of it :) enjoy!
  • We stopped in Brookings on our drive home just to try this place. Rated outstandingly on Google, TripAdvisor, and Yelp we figured it had to be good. Reviews don't lie! Well, these ones don't anyway ; ) The owner and bar tender are swell fellas. Enjoyed conversing with both of them for quite some time. The food was crazy delicious. Even if you don't drink, come here for the food. And if you do drink, you will most certainly leave a happier person than when you arrived. It's always fun to find a place so outstanding right where you don't expect it!
  • Food was good, beer was ok, and part of the staff was tolerable. The space happens to be both relatively unpopulated and yet deafening. Avoid Tuesday at all costs; it's trivia night, with an announcer that is easily the worst I have ever heard.
  • When I saw a near perfect rating I had to check this place out. Guess what, I just gave it a five star because it was awesome! Bar tender is knowledgeable and friendly. He'll fill you up sampling their brews and let me tell you, they are fantastic! I am partial to the IPAs now, but I can tell you I didn't taste anything I didn't like. Make sure to grab a pizza, it's the perfect complement to their carefully crafted beers. Bathroom was especially clean for a bar. Can't wait to visit Brookings again.
  • Exceptional Pizza! Beer and service could have been better. Kind of a small area and really loud inside, hard to have a conversation.
