  • My wife recommended this place for me as teacher. On my day off I took my camera and headed there. I left home from Wave Hill very happy for what I see. It was nice day, nice view, a lots of knowledge...  read more »
  • This is a wonderful garden with amazing views of the Hudson River. The gardens are beautiful and it is a pleasure to walk around and enjoy the scenery. They have a nice gift shop and clean rest rooms.
  • Great place to bring friends and do lots of activities. Best of all free on Saturday before noon! Surprising how great it all was and we didn't spend a dime that day. Would definitely come back again.
  • Really amazing place, I work with a program called TreesNY and I got to help mulch a trail. They really care about the plants and the environment, really nice well groomed place. Lots of pokestops, all within walking distance, picked them up 5 times on my lunch break. Many different plants, lots of caring workers who want to give you information, just a great place! Also free on certain days.
  • Great place to bring the kids. Lots of activities. And best of all free on Saturday before noon. Even parking was free if park down the hill and take free shuttle bus in. Surprising how great it all was and we didn't spend a dime that day. Will surely go back many times this summer.
  • Like a Mini NY Botanical Gardens. Two large and amazing old estate homes. One use for cafe and art, the other for art. Nice shop in central building. Greenhouses. Small formal garden areas, pergolas and vines. The best part can be sitting on chairs placed in the shady areas of the lawns while reading a book or gazing at the Hudson River. On July and August Wednesday's they have Sunset Music events. Tough to find, but they run shuttles - check the website or call for info.
  • I love the grounds. My son's runs up and down the hills. The family art projects on the weekend are great
  • Disregard comment at top. You can pack a lunch but there IS a restaurant. See web site.
