  • So surprising tot walk by and see this little sliver of literary history in the middle of a shopping district.
  • This small country cottage was Poe's last home before he died. The house is unique. It's the only place where you can see life as it was lived in the mid-19th century

  • Love Poe so to be in a place he actually lived was amazing. Saw some crows but no ravens.
  • Everything. It's really wonderful. A huge experience of humble way of life in The Bronx of 19th century. Thanks to Neil Raley, a very gentle and interesting Poeman at the door of the Cottage.
  • Amazing. I have an old watercolor of the Edgar Allan Poe cottage it is in very rough shape but I want to donate it? Any ideas? Evan e. Odessa, ny.
  • The Edgar Allan Poe museum is a small building on a corner, almost blending into the city. They have only a few rooms, but they hold a lot. There is an art room in the second building that I highly recommend. I'm never disappointed with the museum, and always offer to volunteer.
