  • This museum is not welcoming to children. My family travels around the country and we enjoy visiting local museums as a way of learning about local culture and art. The security guard at this museum advised one of the children in our group that he was following us to be sure we didn't touch anything. It was both inappropriate and unnecessary as our kids are well versed in museum behavior. Further, he should have addressed one of the parents in our group and not made the kids so uncomfortable.
  • Unique museum with lot's of great local art that's interesting and different.
  • Beautiful location. I have visited it many times, enjoying each experience. The exhibits displayed in both the temporary and permanent collections are stunning. Nice view of the lake. Best when seen in spring and summer especialy.
  • Very cute and interesting little museum. When we visited, there were displays focusing on enamel arts, Danish fiber artist Grethe Wittrock, art quilts, and more. My favorite was the mobile art titled Icarus by Mark Davis. It took us under and hour to tour the museum.
  • A magnificent gem a stone throws away!
