  • We took a break here from a long bike ride around the lake. Turned into a few hours of relaxing beach side. It's a long narrow beach with gorgeous lake views. Very family friendly. The water was so cl...  read more »
  • One of the cleanest lakes in all of the United States, spring fed, cooler water temps, although on this day it was 76 degrees, and perfect for cooling off. The beach is long, but narrow so it's great ...  read more »

  • Aleister Crowley spent the summer of 1916 at the lake. I took the opportunity to mark the centenary and recreated his magickal regimen. I had great success and found this an ideal locale for summoning spirits and communicating with extradimensional intelligences.
  • I can't say enough about this place.. beautiful lake surrounded by hills. Perfectly clean water to swim in. Clean park. My family loves it!
  • I read the reviews before I visited this state park for the first time. As I was sitting on the beach, I just couldn't figure out where the man was looking when he said the view was not good. I saw beautiful tree lined hills in all directions. Nice combination of sunny and shady areas. We will return again.
  • My favorite lake and beach in my state. I come here every summer and love it. Great beach, water, tables, grills, volleyball court, and blueberry bushes. The only thing I wish is that the entrance charge would be taken out when you come for less than half a day.
  • My parents first took me here 57 yrs ago. Over the years our family has had many good times here. Three generations have posed for a picture in the crooked tree. It is one of the most beautiful places on earth. Enjoy!
