  • We have been to many light houses along Maines coast and I would rank this one number one. Picturesque setting with the sea crashing on rocky point. Fun to walk around on the rock formations around the light house. Come ready to take a bunch of pictures.
  • I married my wife here. It is a visually beautiful place. A must see (the rock fingers going out into the ocean surf) spectacular!!!!!!!!
  • An excellent example of Maine's Lighthouses. You can climb to the top of the lighthouse and tour the Lighthouse Keepers quarters. Also, this is the Lighthouse featured with Schooner Victory Chimes on the Maine Quarter.
  • A beautiful place that is a "must see" every year when I visit Maine. I highly recommend witnessing the sunrise from the rocks below the lighthouse!
  • I loved this lighthouse but unfortunately some of the other photographers, made it very difficult to take a picture
