  • Visited Oct. 12. This is a good cavern to visit without a lot of frills. Impressive structures and several viewing "rooms". Good lighting. Suggest wear tennis or hiking shoes as there are multiple sta...  read more »
  • The place seems like something that stepped out of the past but I say that in a good way. The tour guides are friendly, caverns are open and easy to walk through, and the gift shop is affordable. I tr...  read more »
  • The caverns were really beautiful and the staff knowledgeable about the history. Advise to wear gym shoes or hiking shoes due to the stairs being a bit slick and damp from the cave environment. Plenty...  read more »
  • I think we were spoiled on our visit here. The tour was conducted by a most delightful fella with a terrific sense of humor. The tour takes about 30 or so minutes and is neat. If you are in the area and don't mind shelling out $15/person this is a worthy stop to make. If your tour guide is a young man named Corey, tell him we said hi and enjoyed the tour.
  • Took a first date here for something a little different. We enjoyed it very much. Lukas was our tour guide, he kept it fun and humorous. Exactly what I was looking for. Great Visit!
  • We were there first thing on a weekday and had a personal tour. The cavern was very interesting. Worth the money.
  • Liked the cavern the first time. 1st time several years ago it was good. But this 2nd time going there it was a different experience. Current guide needs replacing. He cost them some business today. Someone that is anti-science and has a personal agenda is a poor choice for a cavern tour guide. I specifically said that we are not going to discuss that. Referring to something he wanted to say. Plus it appears that the cavern is deteriorating rapidly. Lots of green growth, and perhaps a black growth as well, are very very evident in my pictures. It does have a nice gift shop. I was going to buy some items after the tour, but the tour changed my mind. So I bought nothing. If you need some gifts and are in the area, it is worth stopping in. I don't think this cavern will be open to the public much longer. It is very sad to see the caverns come to this.
  • Must See Beautiful large multi-level Cavern, there are lots of stairs so no wheelchair access, with a stream running through the bottom of it. The temperature is cool and it is well lit. I've been in a lot of caverns from the west coast to the east coast this is definitely one of my favorites
