  • I've lived in Tennessee for most of my life, but I'd never heard of the Bristol Sessions. As you learn in this museum, these were ten days that changed country music -- the "Big Bang" of country music...  more »
  • Interesting little museum. Worth a visit. Nice and informative. It is small. Not an all day project.  more »

  • Fantastic museum. The information is accessible for newcomers to Appalachia, the South, and mountain music, yet it is fascinating for people with prior knowledge. The museum is thoughtfully designed and full of music, so I enjoyed being able to use my ears rather than silently reading in every room. I easily got a taste of every exhibit in under 2 hours, but I would definitely come back to learn more!
  • The museum is well-trained and the film is exquisite. I liked recording my own vocals in the recording booth. Just wish there were more of the original instruments from the artists exhibited within.
  • I love this museum. Its story is very clear, and the exhibits are well-maintained and interesting. A great way to spend an afternoon!
  • Absolutely loved it....the technology they have is amazing. Don't go unless you want to know how music got started...before Jonny Cash there was bluegrass and gospel so on. But very interesting, and the staff was knowledgeable and helpful.
  • Very interesting, lots of history here. A must see if in the area.
