  • We went to Snowbird for an event put on by Frontside Sessions to promote support for the environment. Magic Giant performed on the tram. We were long time fans and the whole experience was incredible....  more »
  • The snow may not have been great..... only 45" base, but we got 15 inches over a period of 3 days which covered all the ice and yellow....and it was still wonderful... we could even ski thru the trees...  more »

  • Fantastic resort for beginner and experienced riders. Half of us snowboard and the other ski - both types of riders enjoyed this mountain. This is the second time riding out west (from FL) and highly recommend due to great conditions, not over crowded, and cost effective. The double black chutes are awesome tree runs and the climb up High Baldy makes for fantastic powder runs down the mountain side. Worth looking into for your next snowboard or ski trip.
  • More modern decor building, better food than most ski resorts. Great mountain. Definitely more challenging than other resorts in the area, but still lots of moderate stuff. Great convenience store and deli in the basement of the base lodge. I love that they let you drink beer that you bring in the main outdoor area
  • Highly quality service, modern building, dining at 11000 ft high altitude. We had taken snowmobile 2 hour tour which was great! Our guide was great, trail was challenging. It’s a bit pricy, but I didn’t regret, my experience was excellent! Although there was a lot of ice on slopes, and lifts close at 4:15. I don’t think the day lift pass worth $140.
  • I have been here twice from Canada. It is a pretty great ski resort with their iconic 115 person tram on the front side. A good chunk of the chairs are high speeds and are long offering some great vertical skiing potential. The tunnel through the mountain at the top of the Peruvian Express chair through to Moonlight basin is also super cool.
  • Snowbird is a giant resort with terrain that is challenging even if you've skied there for awhile. Snowbird's neighbor, Alta, might have a slight snow advantage, but Snowbird wins for terrain and generally has better access. Snowbird also has a longer season and allows snowboards. If you are looking for a posh resort look elsewhere. If you are looking for an affordable ski school look elsewhere. If you are looking for reliably great skiing this is your place.
