Been there a few times. It is OK to walk around, probably best with young kids or grandkids. Pricey for what you get, which is not many animals, and they are hard to see. You'd be much better off...

This is a cute zoo! My family started at the Maritime Aquarium in the morning and finished with the zoo in the afternoon. It’s very nice for being 99 years old. It’s also a very accessible zoo, for wheelchair users or for people who need quiet spaces! It took about an hour to do the whole loop and see everything, but it was very pleasant. It’s very well kept and all the flowers are beautiful.

Came here with my grandparents. Both were in wheelchairs. Got around pretty good despite the steep hills. Wish the indoor facilities had wheelchair accessible buttons to open the door. Staff was very nice and helpful. My grandparents had a great time. We even got to rent a wheelchair for free (grandpa got tired)

My daughter and I had a great time. The habitats were very clean, as was the zoo itself, and the animals seemed to be very well taken care of. We enjoyed watching the otters swim and play the best. The staff was very pleasant. Even the items in the gift shop were very reasonably priced. We will definitely return in the summer when they welcome the Andean Bears.

Although we visited on a chilly March day, there were still plenty of animals to see. It was very nice to walk around since it was not busy at all. Great for younger kids as it is not a very big place. Staff were all friendly and helpful. We had a great visit.

We've visited a few times in the past couple years. The new online only ticketing was very confusing. I read online I was supposed to purchase my tickets at the window, we are science center members. But when we pulled in I saw "all tickets must be purchased online", panicked & bought them in the car. There was no code or anything for members so I paid the normal price of tickets instead of 50% off. While we were excited to see new things have been added, a lot was still under construction & some things were closed. We ordered food which was good, but the line was extremely long & getting our order took forever. The only really negative thing I came across was the smell of the rainforest building. It's always been a little pungent, but yesterday it was about 70⁰ & we literally entered & ran through. The smell was absolutely horrible compared to the last time we went in the dead of summer on a really hot day. We will definitely be back to see the new things being added & hopefully fixed. Great place to bring kids for a day adventure.
