  • We stopped here on our way to a Hill Country Resort destination. Great stopping off place for a treat. Large "one" scoop cup of ice cream for only 1 dollar. That's a big scoop, I tell ya. Of course ev...  more »
  • Every visit to Brenham includes the ice cream parlor. The gift shop is wonderful and the ice cream can't be beat for $1. I'm still looking for that new Brides Cake sample.  more »
  • There weren't very many people there so I had an expectation to at least be greeted at the visitor center with some sort of acknowledgment. Nope, just an employee with her face down in the desk. We al...  more »

  • Unfortunately the tours haven't started up again, but the store is open and scooping great ice cream. $1 ice cream scoops - standard favorites and unreleased flavors. Go for the various flavors! You'll find some gems.
  • We have been coming here since I was in grade school and it only gets better each time. We came by today on a whim and were helped at the ice cream counter very promptly. Very small crowd, everyone enjoying a clean ice cream parlor and delicious inexpensive scoops. Their country store is full of cutesy items. Nothing caught my eye but I think this stuff is popular. This facility is not doing tours right now but that's ok. We had fun anyway!
  • The home of Blue Bell Ice Cream. They have tours of the creamery and serve ice cream on site. A great piece of Texas History, and a must stop for anyone passing through.
  • Everyone knows blue bell has the greatest ice cream in the world. Makes sure to take your kids here every few years. I'm very sad they do not have tours at this time. I'll call up there every couple and ask.
  • First time visiting the creamery. They had a cool little gift shop, wished they offered a tour through their facilities though.
