  • Took a field trip here with students. Everyone had a great time. Staff were helpful and lots to see. The best part is it's free!  more »
  • Good thing that all the creepy crawlers are in cages or see through boxes. Good eww factory for young and old. Clean bright and doesn't smell, not only bugs and spiders, but snakes and lizards. Select...  more »
  • Great stop for under-12 kids, to peer at tarantulas, etc in about a dozen cages. This is also a souvenir shop with the science kits, fossils, gems etc you'd expect. Not really a must-see, but you won'...  more »

  • Really cool free stop. Super kid friendly and reasonable prices on all the types of toys kids actually enjoy.
  • Cute little museum with bugs and reptiles...a lot of good displays of preserved bugs and a number of living animals too. Totally free to go to the museum and there is a nice little gift store there too.
  • Very interested in bugs and educational. Reptiles are very alert and active. Great place for kids and adults. And a nice bathroom with BUGS!!
  • The Bug Museum is an amazing experience for all ages I highly recommend it to anyone interested in bugs or homeschooled children field trips for schools or anyone just looking for something different to do you can buy live butterflies and watch them go through the stages of their life you can go back to the reptile room and see all of the wonderful reptiles and snakes is amazing and awesome my kids love it and everyone we have taken loved it they do wonderful things for certain holidays especially Halloween and they're a wonderful part of the community and I'm so glad that they're here and that they share everything that they have to offer for free admission and bring a couple dollars to buy a couple of treats to take for yourself support them because they support our nature
  • I had low expectations for this place, but it was actually great. It had a surprising amount of bugs and even had a reptile room. There were well written placards that give fun facts about the animals. It took me about 40 minutes to read everything and enjoy the exhibit. Great for kids too.
