  • Great for younger children, our 3 grandchildren had fun checking out the bugs and reptiles under magnifying glasses. The real hit was the opportunity to hold a corn snake. Chris, the owner, was very p...  read more »
  • I liked the live tarantulas and bugs and ants, and the huge displays of mounted bugs were awfully impressive. We saw live bugs that looked like non-bugs (leaves, sticks), and many other exhibits, but ...  read more »
  • Lucy and I enjoy the Bug Museum. She like the snakes and reptiles, me not so much. But having said that, great place to take a child with a curious mind. Thank you for being there!!!
  • I had low expectations for this place, but it was actually great. It had a surprising amount of bugs and even had a reptile room. There were well written placards that give fun facts about the animals. It took me about 40 minutes to read everything and enjoy the exhibit. Great for kids too.
  • Free! They have a variety of insects and reptiles. Totally worth checking out.
  • This place is amazing to visit. Right when you pull up you can tell your ready for a surprise, by looking at the art. After opening the door you can not miss the butterflys and the very organized gift shop. Really neat learning gifts for all ages. As you move on to see the bugs and reptiles you will be amazed to learn about the creatures and know they are well maintained. Plus there is a scavenger hunt to really get the children involved and adults a little puzzle. To top the place off service is wonderful. I wouldn't mind taking the children again. Plus it free admission can't beat that. All 6 of the children enjoyed the museum.
  • The kids loved it and it's free! This small museum is easily overlooked. The kids loved the snake and there were a variety of other exhibits.
  • Visited with our three grandchildren, ages 4,7,8 yesterday. It's now their favorite place to visit. They're still looking up pictures of Ssssstella and talking about what lizards eat. Well worth the 45 minute drive from Bainbridge. Also making habitats for the critters they bought from the gift store. As I retired teacher I rate it very highly as an educational experience.
