  • Played a round on a Friday Evening. The course was in fantastic shape for May and you can't get a better deal for a top notch course. It's a beautiful layout that is very scenic, challenging, and has ...  more »
  • This course is on an amazing piece of property, very beautiful golf course. Well maintained only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is that I thought the greens were a little shaggy and could have been a...  more »
  • Played this just after the Ryder Cup. Great course (challenging), beautiful setting and scenery. Course was in excellent shape. 2 1/2 hours from Minneapolis.  more »
  • Deacon's Lodge is by far the nicest high end golf course I've ever been to that is open to the public, good food at Palmer' s grill but over priced. Staff are top notch and will be ever curtious to your every need. Now for the course... the most beautiful and scenic course I've ever played, it's a tough course and it's not cheap, I've played plenty of $50 golf but going here for $120 golf is a nice treat occasionally but not for the faint of heart, this course will test your resolve and it is worth the price of admission, bring your camera cause you'll want to remember this place. Best of luck on the course.
  • I would recommend staying at these cabins to any large group. You are right off the golf course and just minutes away from a water park, mini golf, go cart tracks and my personal favorite atv trails.
  • Amazing course and my favorite in the Brainerd/Crosslake area. Very challenging but top notch design. If you are headed to the Brainerd Golf Trail, you should definitely not skip this course. One of my favorite public courses in the state; the only course if played in MN that I would put above this is The Wilderness in Tower, MN (which would require a completely different trip).
  • The best greens and fairways I have ever played on! Pristine shape :)
  • What a beautiful, well maintained course. We played on the day after it opened in 2017. Great staff put us at ease and every hole was ready for the season!
