Great place to rent ski and snowboard equipment. The staff is friendly and helpful and they’ll get you set up quickly with good equipment. The equipment wasn’t incredible, but for the price it couldn’t be beat and worked well. The boots were surprisingly comfortable for ski boots and the skis got me through two full days of skiing without issue. The store has pretty much all the equipment you could possibly need including socks, gloves, and masks, among others. It can be your one stop shop for getting equipped.

Great place. have rented from them 2x now. They always focus on making sure to fit you well and make sure you are happy with your rental. Scott (the owner) fitted me himself for my helmet. Great small business. will definitely keep going back. Have affordable former rentals for sale as well.

I was very impressed with Blue River Sports. Very fast, very efficient, very professional and friendly. Good rates and good equipment. I will definitely rent from them again the next time I ski in Breckenridge.

They were so efficient and helpful. It was a breeze to get in and out. Everything fit extremely well and they were even able to facilitate my request for a helmet with a GoPro mounting. Definitely recommend.

When it comes to renting gear while you're in Breck there's a huge number of options. You could snag gear before you head into the mountains and probably save some cash while hauling it with you. You could snag gear from some other shop in town and maybe even save a few bucks, or you could save yourself any potential rental headaches, or worse nightmares, and go to Blue River Sports. It's difficult to quantify the value of exceptional customer service and I cannot recall a single instance where the staff at BRS was not on the ball. Traded my skis out 4 times during 5 days on the mountain, and returned our gear after our checkout date due to having enjoyed a nearby tavern for happy hour whilst the store closed. Needless to say the next morning I returned the gear without issue before sadly leaving the mountains.
