  • Great service and staff was very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend the bike ride from Vail pass to Frisco.
  • After watching a safety video, our bikes were loaded onto a trailer and we boarded a van to go to Vail Pass. Our driver Mike was very friendly and showed us all of the areas we would be going through,...  read more »
  • We had a group of 8 guys visiting Breckenridge, most of whom had never mountain biked before. We got a coupon from the Breckenridge Visitor Center for 20% off bike rentals with Alpine Sports and were ...  read more »
  • Outstanding service, from the first call to the check in to the equipment return. Their prices are the best in town too, after an initial and cursory research process. They took the time to fit the equipment, without rush, with genuine attention to comfort and safety. One small area of improvement I would comment on is that the bikes we rented were a bit run down, rough in some aspects and could be perhaps maintained a bit better. Beyond that, a fair price and outstanding service.
  • We rented two tag along bikes attached to path bikes and headed out to the trail, but before we could get to the path, my daughter's tag along almost detached and we nearly crashed in the road. We walked the bike back, and one of the associates told me that the tag along had not been tightened at all. After waiting several minutes, he came back out and tightened it. We headed out again, and a mile down the road, my seat started falling off and my husband called ahead to me and notified me that my other daughter's tag along was also coming loose. His seat was also two inches off center and we didn't have the tools to fix it. At that point, we called because we didn't want to ride all the way back on bikes that were obviously unsafe. I was told that they were swamped and could try to get somebody out to us and fix the bikes, but it would take a while. We decided to head back and return the bikes. I almost crashed twice on the path, and my daughters were both completely terrified on the way back. We have biked this trail every year for the past ten years, and have always rented bikes in Frisco with no issues. I would be very wary of this place. Safety and equipment maintenance are obviously not major concerns for Alpine Sports.
  • I bought new skis and was referred to Alpine Sports for bindings. I took my skis there, picked out bindings and payed $300 dollars for the bindings and for them to be mounted and fully tune them. When I got my skis back one bindings DIN was set at 7 and the other bindings DIN was set at 9 WHICH IS EXTREMELY DANGEROUS! On top of that they didn't even touch the skis when it came to tuning. I had to bring them to another shop to get them properly tuned and that shop was SHOCKED that Alpine Sports hadn't even touch them EVEN THOUGH I PAID FOR IT! I don't know if Alpine Sports thought that I was just a tourist and that they would never see me again so they didn't care how well they handled my skis, but jokes on them...I am a local who lives less them a mile from their shop and I will NEVER return to Alpine Sports again for anything, nor will I ever refer anyone to this store!
  • This is a great, family owned company with three full-service shops around Breckenridge. I rented a demo ski package for about the same price as Breck's standard rentals and was in and out in under 15 minutes. All shops have very knowledgeable staff and carry ski/ride equipment from Burton, Yes, Ride, Dynastar, Nordica, K2, Salomon, Volkl, Rossignol, Icelandic, Blizzard, Line and Faction. In the summer they sell, service and rent Specialized bikes and Stand-up Paddleboards and they operate a shuttle service to the top of Vail Pass to ride bikes downhill to Frisco - that's free if you rent a bike from them.
  • Had to get our boots fitted at the last minute before we went up on the gondola because the plastic had warped, so we headed here. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, the store was organized and clean. The coffee shop attached was super cute and gave us something to do while our boots were being heated up for fitting. I'll go back if I need anything up in Breck again!
