  • The museum may not have the most high-tech interactive displays, but the collection is amazing. We all know soldiers in WWI had to wear gas masks, but who ever thought about their horses? Yep, horsey ...  read more »
  • Had a great time here and so very interesting. Always entertaining and we learn something with every different museum we visit. Very well done!
  • Great place to pay tribute to veterans. Covers pretty much all wars and gives you an opportunity to visit displays for all services.
  • Great place to learn about our nation's wartime history. Would make for a great school field trip. Building doesn't look like much but inside is a great collection of military history.
  • Wonderful! Especially love the walls of names in each room honoring those that gave their lives. Found my mother's brother's name on the WWII wall. Thank you for this great museum!
  • Very touching! I love this place! Been there several times and don't get tired of it. Makes me cry a lot too. Army Veteran.
  • My husband and I went to this museum with not much of an expectation. Of all of the places that we went, this by far was the best in our 4 day vacation. We are both in our 20's, but appreciate history. Neither of us are war fanatics although he and I both enjoy war history. If any appreciation for the wars or history this is a must visit kind of place. He and I plan to go back at some point in time because there was so much to take in. Overall it was a very moving experience.
  • I recently visited the museum and having read the pamphlets at the hotel my wife and I made sure to include you on our list of things to do. Me being a disabled Veteran I try to visit many museums that pertain to what I did during my time in service. This way my wife can see what I endured during my time. As always when I am about to enter a Veterans museum I get butterflies in my stomach because of the moments I remember. Once inside your museum I noticed it started like all the rest and included many items about the world wars. Korean war, and the Vietnam war. However once I reached the section pertaining to the first Gulf War I was very disappointed. It was if this war did not matter to your museum and you didn't waste much space nor have much on display that truly showed what we went through. We were soldiers just like in all the other wars and it is amazing how little credit your facility gave to the people that put their life on the line in the first Gulf war. We too lost lives and lived through hard times the same as the rest and should be respected as all the rest are. The people that took our money were really nice people and the facility was very clean and well kept. The saddest part is I received more respect from the people at the motel we stayed in, as far as what I did in the Military, than I was given at your museum. It is not a visit I would make twice. I was very disappointed.
