  • We booked our vacation to Branson based on things I had read about Silver Dollar City at Christmas. We have two small children (age 4 and 3) and we thought they might remember this a little. The kids ...  more »

  • Christmas at Silver Dollar City! First time for Christmas at Silver Dollar City... Lights are wonderful and sure puts you in the holiday spirit!! They open later during this season and stay open later. Be sure to check their days and hours because they can be different on different days. Best way is to download the app! Dickens Christmas Carol production is free with park ticket and do is It's a Wonderful Life. Highly recommended. Want close seats? Pay $10 extra for each reserved seat and no waiting in line.
  • This was the main event for my honeymoon. We got the Splash n Play tickets, even though White Water was going to be closed by the time our tickets expired, so we spent three days here. Let me tell you, there was SO much more that we couldn't pack into three long days! It was great! The rides were a lot of fun and I'm so grateful our honeymoon fell on an off-season period for them. The park always smells great, either from the fresh cinnamon bread, the smoked meats, or the fresh Missouri air. The cave was wonderful, the train was lovely and I can't wait to bring our own children to the park in the future.
  • We very much enjoy coming here. The Marvel Cave tour is fantastic. The rides are a lot of fun. The atmosphere is exciting. The park doesn't make any secret about its Christian theme, but for those of us who aren't Christian, it isn't distracting or overwhelming.
  • Silver Dollar City is a quaint vintage theme park. Entering the park really feels like stepping back in time. The employees are dressed up in old timey clothes, and there are artisans - potters, blacksmiths, weavers - at every turn. This was due to the Cowboy and Harvest festival that takes place on the fall. There are many rides for kids and adults alike and you can tour an enormous cave with much wildlife. All included in the price of admission. Go on Thursdays and buy tickets beforehand. They're $35 from a local grocery store. Great way to spend the day with family.
  • History and family fun! If you can make it a few times, spring for the season pass. There is a lot more to do and see than you can manage to do in a day or two if you are a fan of the arts! Family favorite ride for all ages is the flooded mine. Be prepared for a lot of walking though. Wear good shoes! Season passes also offer discounts on a lot of other great attractions.
