  • We arrived here at 1130 and the only available parking spots were in lot 3. We decided to walk to the park and got the faster than the tram. It's only a 0.5 mile walk. The actual park is nice, clean and there's something to do for everyone, kids, parents and grandparents. We decided to have lunch at the Mine restaurant and didn't regret it. The prices were decent and the food was delicious. I would recommend going if you're looking for a family fun day.
  • Awesome theme park rides, amazing roller coasters, and a feel-good theme around the park that centers around the importance of fun, faith, and family. There are not very many theme parks that have the old-fashioned family flare that this one does. The shows are always fun and seem to change frequently enough so that you experience a wide variety of both Branson and national talent. If you live in the area, it is definitely worth investing in a season pass because there's hardly a better way to spend a weekend afternoon then making a trip to Silver Dollar City.
  • You will have to wait: wait to get in the parking lot, wait to park, wait to get bused to the entrance, wait for tickets, wait to have tickets accepted....but, once you're in, Silver Dollar City is fabulous. There's tons to do, for many age ranges and interests. The rides are fun and can entertain those 2-adult. The demonstrations are fun/informative of crafts (we particularly like the glass blowing and candy making). It's worth all the waiting!
  • Kid friendly, grandparent friendly. Great rides, good food, good shows. Take advantage of the Silver Dollar cups for cheap refills...consider multi day passes. You will need time. Take advantage of their shop and pick up on the way out service. BEST CINNAMON ROLLS EVER!
  • I read tons of reviews and some people had said that the staff wasn't very friendly and I assumed they had a bad day or something. They were so right though! First thing in the morning we went to ride the tram to the park the guy was rude when I asked where do the strollers go and he said well I guess you would fold it down don't you think? My stroller had the car seat and 2 bags on it. That wasn't going to happen so we walked the 1/2-1 mile to the park. I was also told when I called that there was plenty of places to go in and sit with a baby to cool down. Not true! The pizza place, which was delicious btw, was kinda cool but the doors were open the whole time so she was still hot they also told me on the phone that the cavern was stroller friendly... again not true it's 500 steps down and 200 up. So we didn't get to do that either. Also they said the park was very kid friendly and was easy for stroller navigation. Again lies! The hills were so incredibly steep at times and the stroller almost tipped a couple of times. If you stopped at any point better put locks on so you don't have a roll away baby! I saw only 1 family bathroom could have been more and me just not seeing them. They did have a nice nursing station though. Most of the staff seemed like any questions we asked was a bother. Another thing is the map was completely awful!! I have been to six flags at St. Louis and in Texas and also universal studios in Orlando and those were so much simpler to navigate through! I would much rather go to six flags than this any other day even if I didn't have my children with me!
