  • Nice hiking, conservation area, not all that steep, it was dry when we were there but number of stream beds if rainy season  more »
  • It was an easy trail to get to the tower. The trail is only 1/2 mile long. The first half to get to the tower is very steep (12% incline). The tower itself is 40 feet high. When you get to the top.....  more »
  • While in Branson battling the traffic (and we were told it wasn't even the "busy season") we needed a break so went to the Ruth & Paul Henning Conservation area and walked a couple of trails. Much...  more »
  • Great place for some hiking. There are some longer trails with high elevation changes if you are looking for a more strenuous hike. They also have a nice 0.5 mile, paved trail for those looking for less. The tower on that easier trail sports a great view. There are restrooms there, but bring water!!
  • It has a beautiful view of the Branson area. It actually overlooks the entertainment city and can give one the sense of wonder about all the dreams people have about making it in the county music industry. The greatest view one can have is early in the morning with the fog laying in the valleys below. As you stand there and watch the fog begin to burn off the town below comes to life. The site was named for Ruth and Paul Henning who took a part of the Ozarks to Hollywood.
  • Great if you love nature hikes but you have to pack out what you pack in. No trash cans. One outhouse building at the trailhead. The dogs enjoyed the visit.
  • Only thing that would make this place better is a trash can and actually have toilet paper in the pit toilet houses. The trails and very well marked and clean. Beautiful!!!
  • Great place to visit if you are looking to do something outside and away from the hustle and bustle of Branson. I really appreciate the well labeled maps throughout the trails. Make sure you take water and snacks if you plan to hike for a longer period of time. There are benches provided on the trails.
