Ripley's Believe It or Not, Branson

3.7
#3 of 11 in Museums in Branson
Specialty Museum Museum
Housed inside a building designed to look like it was cracked by an earthquake, Ripley's Believe It or Not features over 400 exhibits of some of the world's strangest artifacts. The museum bills itself as the place "Just North of Unusual," and you can see exactly why as you explore its seven themed galleries. As you walk through the collection of bizarre objects, look for shrunken human heads, 19th-century vampire-killing kits, and two-headed calves. The museum also features one of the world's biggest collections of strange artwork, including a replica of an ancient Roman building made entirely of ordinary playing cards. • We have been to a many Ripley's and this is about the same as the other Ripley's we have been to. There is an interesting Transformer in the front of the building. The display are pretty much like the...  more »
  • Great place to see lots of cool and interesting things. My youngest (7) was a little scared of some things but enjoyed it for the most part.  more »
  • Loved it! Had lots of fun in this one! Just smaller than the one in Gatlinburg! Still with a peek. Especially the shrunken head!  more »

  • My husband and I visited the bulding, looks a lot smaller from the outside we spent about an hour and a half looking at stuff. It was really clean and organized. Spaced out enough to where everyone can look at something diffrent and read it all then switch. This was my favorite. Better than the wax museum.
  • The exotics there are unbelievable! My son and I enjoyed it so much. Definitely will go again.
  • Loved this. My husband wanted to go, and it was great to go to a museum that I could let our 3 year old and 1 year old down to play (The Lite Brite and Tunnel were their favorite.
  • Some interesting interactive exhibits. Son loved the Optimus Prime, Iron Man and Hulk statues. Cool and informational oddities from around the globe. Probably the most reasonably priced attraction in Branson.
  • Lots of interesting stuff but it is a small one. You'd able to complete your whole tour within an hour. But it's a good place to spend on the go.
