Ripley's Believe It or Not, Branson
(3.6/5 based on 800+ reviews on the web)
Housed inside a building designed to look like it was cracked by an earthquake, Ripley's Believe It or Not features over 400 exhibits of some of the world's strangest artifacts. The museum bills itself as the place "Just North of Unusual," and you can see exactly why as you explore its seven themed galleries. As you walk through the collection of bizarre objects, look for shrunken human heads, 19th-century vampire-killing kits, and two-headed calves. The museum also features one of the world's biggest collections of strange artwork, including a replica of an ancient Roman building made entirely of ordinary playing cards. • Nice place to visit. If you've been to one, the next one has just as much different stuff as it does the same stuff. But still a good place to spend time with your kids.
  • If you like strange facts and artifacts this is for you! I have been through The Ripley's Believe It Or Not Museum twice!!
  • First, buy your tickets online, even in the parking lot to save $3- $4 per ticket. I would not recommend this for toddlers as they would zoom through the museum and probably be bored. At times, our 9 ...  more »

  • I really saw some great things here like the exhibit of the biggest toilet paper roll and the wax lady whom I thought was a real person lol great time
  • Really neat place to visit. It's definitely worth taking a look at I'd you are in the area or close by. Lots of cool stuff and videos.
  • A good way for the kids to spend a rainy afternoon. We have been to other Ripley's in other cities, and this one didn't have as much to see. But there was lots of hands on things for the kids to do and try, like optical illusions and games. Price was more than I would have paid, had it not been raining, and coupons were not as common as in other towns. Our kids (ages 8-17) loved it, much more than my husband or I, and neither of us liked the price (20$/15$ ad/ch).
  • Great place the take the kids. Thought I would see a bunch of Ripley's stuff I've already seen, but this place surprised me with unique displays and fun rooms. Seemed like the rooms never stopped, until the end. One person who worked there told me some of the displays are seasonal. I'm guessing this is so they try to lure everyone back for multiple trips. Good times. Highly recommend it. Took my family of four about 2.5 hours to traverse the entire building.
  • We thought it was very interesting! But we wish it was a little bigger. Everyone was also very friendly! Great place to go!!
