This was a fun place to stop. All of their wines were displayed along the walls. The employees were inside a circle bar and gave us a list of all the wines they could let us sample. We could pick up t... read more »
The two gentlemen that helped us that day were very nice. We opted for the free samples and we felt that the red wines were enjoyable while the dry white was excellent. We ended up buying a case of wi... read more »

I wish I could say I had more of an experience here to review. The good--the building is nice, very attractive, and there was plenty of parking. The not so good? The staff, or lack thereof. I'll be charitable and say that because they had a help wanted sign that maybe they were short on staff. With that said--there were a half dozen guests at the tasting bar with 2 guys assisting them. We walked in the door and went around looking at the wines. Not once did any of the staff acknowledge us with even so much as a "hello" or a "we'll be right with you" or at the very least "hey, sorry, we're short on staff, we won't actually be able to help you, but thanks for coming in". Not a word in the 10 minutes we were there. That ended that trip to the winery real quick. Luckily, they have a neighbor just up the road that was more than happy to greet us & sell us their products. As I said, maybe they're short on staff--this time of year everyone in Branson is short on staff. But to not even acknowledge other customers on a relatively slow afternoon? Poor show Mount Not-So-Pleasant, poor show.
Pros: You can taste 5 wines for free, except for wines made from Napa Valley grapes (the $5 tasting is 'refunded' if you spend $20 or more on bottles; the cheapest of those bottles is $25). They have plenty of space and a nice tasting setup. Cons: There was only 1 dry red on the complimentary tasting, and it tasted chalky. We had just tasted wines at Lindwedel, and none of Mount Pleasant's wines compared. The poor wine quality could partially be forgiven if our server had been more knowledgeable about the wines. He was friendly, but unable to answer basic questions such as which grape varietals were in a blend. We visit MO and KS wineries often. This is the first winery I can say I will not return to.
Had a great time tasting! The two men serving were great. They had awesome personalities 😄. The bald one 😉 was wearing a light purple shirt and made sure my husband, I, and our friends stayed laughing. They were both very knowledgeable about wine and gave great recommendations! The Tawny Port is ugh.... SO Good! Can't wait to visit again. Hope they are there next time.
Nice facility, pleasant wine selections. Pricy wine tasting! But it's worth the taste!
Great FREE wine tasting in Branson. Devon was extremely helpful in suggesting wines for our palettes. This is a must stop for any wine connoisseur.
