  • This is breathtaking and we'll worth the time you spend touring it. Lots of steps but you get a ride back to the top.  more »

  • I've done the cave at Silver Dollar City twice and loved it both times. The first time I went with just one nephew and everyone else stayed in the park. This time, we did it as a family and it was a big hit. Don't take your babies on this tour. It's dark, kinda chilly and a long walk. They will cry and get tired. It will suck for you. My youngest nephew was 5 and I think that may have been too young for it. If the tram at the end doesn't work, you have to walk back and you won't enjoy it with a baby or toddler. That being said, the cave is amazing. You will see so much and the tour guides are fabulous.
  • Very beautiful cave! Recommended for anyone visiting silver Dollar City! The only downside is sometimes parts of it are closed, but is is still BEAUTIFUL.
  • They called her the queen of the cave. That she would guide us steadfast through the hundreds of stairs it took to get through the cave. What they failed to mention was how alive our tour guide Katie made this tour. With a mound of bat crap jokes she lightened our hearts in a dark place. We shouted loudly in order to hear an echo in the cave and she masterfully composed the shout like John Williams composing the theme to star wars. The strenuous nature of the tour was greatly overhyped and I walked away more energetic then when I entered, but that could have been because of the wonderous sights and uncommonly excellent guidance. Not a lot of great cave formations for the keen eye to take in here, but the waterfall majestically cascading in the depths of the cave inspired me to achieve my dreams in a way that no amount of curtains, stalagmites, beehives, soda straws, stalagtites, or hornets nests ever could.
  • The cave is a great place to go on a cold or hot day. It stays about 60°F. There are alot of stairs down and about half as many back up. There are sections that are tight and only 4' in height. It ends with a beautiful cable car ride out of the cave back to the top.
  • Fantastic addition to Silver Dollar City! Entry and tour of the cave is included in the admission to SDC and is well worth the 1 hour tour. The cave is enormous and houses many bats and salamanders. The bats are everywhere and you can come face to face with them. They're incredible. The tour guides do a great job of telling the story of the cave and its formation. Be warned, going through the cave requires a good amount of fitness as there are many stairs.
