  • We went there to see the lights at night. For the price charged, it was not worth it. There are too many other places to go see lights that are not only better, but are cheaper. I will never go back. ...  more »

  • I had a really wonderful time here. I felt very at home and every staff member was kind and had a great attitude and seem to love the animals. I am really glad I did the VIP pass, but it was just my boyfriend and me. I’m sure that price is way too high for some folks who have bigger families. But I also know that this organization depends a lot on patronage as you don’t receive any funding and I can respect that. I loved the baby animal encounters and the tram ride and the kangaroos were my absolute favorite in the foot safari. At first I thought the prairie dogs had the mange, but I kept an open mind as I’m inexperienced in zoology and the care of those animals, and sure enough, I learned it was molting season for them. I think what you all are doing is wonderful and I can’t wait to see some of the new things you have in store. It’s a shame the world has come to such high expectations from some folks and it gets harder and harder to impress. I, however, am easily amused and adore animals. Keep up the great work! I hope to return again soon and God bless you all.
  • A smaller but VERY hands-on and interactive zoo! General admission is reasonably priced and they also have different tiers of experiences you can pay extra for, my party choose the tier to have an encounter with an animal in it's enclosure and we choose the Two-Toed Sloth which turned out to be an amazing experience! Crossed that off my bucket list! If you ever want to touch and feed one of these awesome creatures this is the cheapest place I could find that was also very reputable and clearly takes great care for their animals. They also have feed they sell for super cheap that you can go around and feed some of their animals. I fell in love with their Sloths and their super docile Kangeroos.
  • Not impressed for the price. Animal habitats need work, the animals in the drive thru part aren’t bad but not crazy exciting. The giraffe and baboons looked lonely and miserable. The tiger and lioness the same. It was cool to pet a camel and kangaroo though. The bird exhibit, I was expecting the birds to be more active, instead it was a struggle though the birds could have been sick of people and peanut butter too. The prairie dogs looked like they had mange as well as one of the other exhibits of animals. It seemed weird to our family to have 30+ guinea pigs as an exhibit. Overwhelming with biblical quotes. Used to work for a zoo for 3 years, unfortunately for the price I wouldn’t return with my family. I was looking at our map we received and it does look like we missed quite a bit on the foot safari, oh well. Would have loved to upgrade to more “fun” experiences, but the budget didn’t allow. Glad other people enjoy this place, good luck to this family owned place.
  • We loved so much of our visit! Being able to interact with so many of the animals is great! We did the VIP encounter and truly enjoyed the animals as well as their handlers. All the info they shared was wonderful. The bus tour thru the grounds was awesome. We are referring to it as our "Camel Cruise"! Our driver was funny and informative! We had a great time!!
  • It was a super friendly and fun place to visit. We had the ultimate experience so that made it that much better. The only complaint I had is with it I thought we got the pictures for free is what one photographer told us and I had her hold them until the end. Once we were finished though she was gone and the new guy charged us the $22.75 for the photos.
