  • This is the 3rd year that we have fished with Capt. Steve Dickey. Not only is he a gentleman, but he is an extraordinary guide as well. He is amiable, and patient, and knows Taneycomo extraordinarily well. He deals with different conditions and weather with great aplomb. We have always caught many fish, and have had a wonderful time with him. With amateur or expert he is first rate. I have fished for some 56 years. 40 of those years with a variety of guides on a variety of waters. Capt. Steve ranks at the top in all categories!
  • Steve Dickey is an absolutely wonderful trout fishing guide. We have had the pleasure of fishing Lake Taneycomo with him the past 3 years and always had a very fun and successful fishing day. We give him the highest level recommendation!
  • This experience was second to none! Steve is one of the best guides I have met. There were 5 of us in our party and Steve was able to keep up with all of us. This was my very first time even attempting fly fishing and I was able to catch my limit thanks to his direction. Even if I would have caught nothing, this would have been worth my time. Thank You Steve for the amazing day and amazing experience with my family! Next time I am renting out you're lake house!
  • Went to Missouri for my first time, and fished with Captain Steve. What a great guy. It was my first time on the fly rod as well. Luckily for me, Captain Steve is also a fly fishing instructor, so it worked out great! I'll never forget this trip! For fishing in January, we experienced great weather, 50's and 60's for the first couple days. The amount of trout we caught was staggering! Captain Steve knew just what flats and drop offs would be holding trout, and he was right every time! "Get ready, these flats should be holding fish," and WHAM! I'll definitely be back, was by far the best trout fishing I'd ever experienced, thanks to Captain Steve! -Joe from Boston
  • This Labor Day weekend my wife and I decided to try our luck with some trout fishing and booked an evening trip with Anglers Advantage. I have been fishing for years but, my wife on the other hand had not fished since she was a little girl; naturally there was some apprehension. Captain Steve worked with her and put her in the position to not only catch fish but a lot of them. In fact I can say she out fished me and to top it, caught a beautiful 18" rainbow. All in all, in the 4 hours we caught 50 plus fish. Steve made sure to keep us on them and there was never a lull; the bite was constant. Steve's personal touch made it seem like you were not fishing with a guide but a friend that you had known for years. Steve is a class act, a true professional and a master at his craft. If you are in the area and want to catch fish and have fun doing so; then Steve is the guide for you!
