  • Surprised that this got so many good reviews. The admission price is $20 per person (unless you are a senior). So, a family of two parents with 3 kids will pay a whopping $100. The amusement park is, ...  read more »
  • Not just fun for the kids. My husband and I thought we'd stop by and it was a great time of looking at all the artifacts that were on display. Some of our favorites were the printing press, camera store and the music shop. They did a great job creating an environment to that era and using the props and items that were donated. Would love to bring our child to a place like this. In a world where modern technology is booming, this is a great place to take a break and educate the next generation on what was before.
  • I attended Paul Bunyan Land with my Daughter and Grandchildren on Sunday. We enjoyed the rides and the petting zoo, however the biggest surprise was the farm; it was like a small village with so many donated antiques and buildings, absolutely incredible and worth every penny. It is just beyond the petting zoo. I honestly don't think many people are even aware of it because there were only a few people besides us roaming around this treasure trove. A shout out to Cam from the gift shop and our ride guide Sam? I hope I didn't get your name wrong? We were the last group to leave the park and he escorted us to our last few rides. Not to push us out (well maybe) but he did it with such grace, such a gentlemen.
  • Family vaca at a resort in Brainard, 4 kids 2 years, 2 - 6 year olds and an 8 year old. Rides are older and more like county or state fair rides but kids enjoyed. Many things to also, such as the old town, petting Zoo, Paul himself. Good was priced reasonably. $150 for a 20oz soda. Staff friendly. Even gift shop was reasonably priced. Offer picture only with Paul for $8 per person, i.e. In and out not rides. Recommend.
  • My family had a lot of fun there. Paul was so nice and even remembered my kids when they walked by a few more times. When she was scared of him, he promised not to talk while she got her picture taken. Rides are for little kids. A few for older, but not much.
  • All of the rides look like they have not been maintained, in which being a maintenance technician, I can tell. The old time farm, well nothing appeared good enough to show off. And thrown in with broken down cars and tractors, was a bunch of garbage and scrap metal. The only interesting thing about the park was Babe the blue ox outside the park and Paul himself. If they maintained their rides, and actually cleaned up the farm (which you would think the $20.00 to get in would cover this) it would be more impressive, but as of now it was disappointing. Coming here once seemed good enough.
