  • McKechnie Field is the best small baseball park, whether going for spring training or minor league baseball. The park still maintains the nostalgic aura of an older park but with all the amenities you...  read more »
  • McKechnie Field has undergone several renovations through the years. The current incarnation places it in the top of the minor league fields I have visited across the country.
  • We took a drive around the field. Just a ball field when no one is a round A pretty field. It would be interesting to a Pittsburgh fan
  • We always have fun at the games. We went on the 4th of July and they had a great firework show after the game. Watch the schedule as many of the games are themed. You can't beat the price.
  • Not a depressed neighborhood, a business neighborhood, all who offer cheap parking. We LOVED the stadium...the flow is right, plenty of choices for food and drink, and a great setting. We aren't Pirates fans, but Sox fans and were treated as if we were part of the home team. Players are very accessible to the public and signed a lot of kids' baseballs. go visit! We will go again...
  • As a Florida resident, this is my favorite spring training park.. The layout is definitely not cookie cutter and adds to the charm. For those complaining about parking and the lack of a place to go before or after the game, the recently opened Motor City Brewery located a few blocks away has cheap parking and is an excellent before game and after game for a great selection of libations and excellent eats from several food truck staged around a large courtyard with spacious decking shaded by large oaks.
  • Great small time baseball field, they fixed it up really nice a couple of years ago. They really try and make the fans feel involved in the atmosphere of the game.
  • Great classic spring training stadium. Excellent beer prices and they keep serving until the last out. The seats behind home plate are nicely shaded.
