  • The trails were not marked well and didn't match map. There was limited view of the river. There are definately better parks out there. Campground seemed private with shade.
  • never stayed here before, we usually stay at an RV resort when we camp. but the state parks are more like camping, if you can call a trailer camping. The lake is huge and has a nice boat ramp if you'r...  more »
  • Fish and Wildlife wait by the boat dock and search boats as they come in. I had everything but the wrong type of life vests. Not worth the $5 or the $90 ticket.

  • Great place for a quick getaway. Got to see the meteor shower due to the ultra clear skies. Enough trails to wear out a couple of dogs and humans. Fishing is limited to 2 floating docks about 100 feet long. Camping facilities are great.
  • We have camped here twice and really enjoy the park. The park is well maintained and a good spot for a quiet day in the woods.
  • Park rangers very helpful, nice campground. Super clean restrooms. Water n electric at campsites. On manatee lake.bikes kayaks for rent, very family friendly
  • Cool park. Found this park during the evacuation of hurricane Matthew and needed a place to let the dogs do their thing. Note the real park is east of the mapped park.
  • Nice camping and lots of geocaching and Munzee if you do that type of thing!
