  • It is a good water park because it fits all levels, infants to adults. It has some scary rides that the teens like and splash area for little ones. It has a adult only hot tub also. Just have to kick ...  more »
  • The kids love this place. The wave surfing is fantastic. Small pool area for small children and inner tube and play structure for older kids. Hot tubs for parents. Something for everyone.

  • Fun for all. Over priced and could use some upkeep. Other then that it is ok weekend getaway.
  • Avalanche Bay is surprisingly clean. We have been to a handful of waterparks that smell moldy and musty and aren't well maintained. Avalanche Bay is top notch in this aspect. The lifeguards are so alert and do a great job. Our 3 kids love all of the slides and there's something for all ages (even the adults have fun).
  • We've been to Great Wolf Lodge in Traverse City and Soaring Eagle Waterpark in Mt. Pleasant, but Avalanche Bay and the resort take the cake. The waterpark itself was somewhat similar to the others we've been to, the slides are probably a little better. However, all the complimentary extras you get when you stay at Boyne Mountain made our trip. We went up the ski lift with the kids, listened to live music while we ate dinner outside, sat around the fire pit and had smores provided by the hotel, visited Deer Lake (on site) and did free kayaking, played on the beach, kids went swimming. There are complimentary activities every weekend. We will be going back for sure!
  • Looking forward to trying the park. A thunderstorm was in the area and we wanted to make sure the pool was grounded. Took 45 minutes to determine it was. This should be in the Q&A section next to life guards.
  • Had a blast here. We took an overnight trip here in December and we loved loved loved the water park..
