  • My husband and I visited the Hobson house on a Saturday in May. We were the only visitors at the time. We got an excellent guided tour buy a lovely young lady named Roma. She gave us the history of th...  more »
  • I've been to Riverview a few times. It's always the same yet I learn something new. I love to look out the front door across Bowling Green and imagine what it was like many years ago.  more »
  • Nothing to say as the are closed on Mondays and that's the only day we were in town. We did take a few pictures of the exterior but that's it. The park and surrounding grounds were well maintained. Ju...  more »

  • This 9-hole municipal course is slightly challenging, with a long drive on hole #6. Towards the end of the 2016 season, the greens were getting in pretty rough shape, however I played here last week (mid-April 2017) and they were in terrific shape so far this year! Very reasonable, and extremely reasonable if walking (and you want a lot of exercise!). The best part is the staff. They are always super friendly and patient when you're coming in just before dark.
  • A beautiful and historic lesser-known local treasure. Whether travelling through Bowling Green or a nearby resident, Riverview is a must-see.
  • Beautiful Historic Home situated along the Barren River. Gorgeous scenery and such tranquility here. I love walking in the wooded area behind the home and a few Greenway trails are near as well. The owners put on many neat events such as tours and guest speakers. A local piece of history that should be cherished by all! Go see it! 😊
  • Walk around this place every time play disc golf but never visited, neat looking.
  • Went to the candlelight Christmas tour which was free. The tour guides didnt go in depth about the house and history but just touched on how the family might have celebrated Christmas and how the rooms might have been used. It was interesting to see an old historic home at night by candlelight because thats not always available. I am excited to go back maybe in the spring to see it in theday time to appreciate the views and hear more in depth history. The guides were all very helpful and pleasant.Has some original furnishings.
