  • We needed to kill some time on our way to a wedding. This place has awesome playground equipment against the lovely back drop of the lake. Free admission. Great park.
  • I joined an Adult Inline Hockey league, and the games were played at Basil Griffin Park. I was impressed by the size of the park and by the abundance of activities that go on. There is a Basketball Co...  more »

  • It's a great park to take kids or fish. Good playgrounds and picnic areas. Right in town yet it doesn't feel like it is. Lots of birds to watch and the fishing is great! Parking is good and over all it's a great park and worth visiting. We go often!
  • Always a good trip here. No matter if the kids are playing at the playground, you are feeding the ducks, or fishing on the bank. I've seen people paddle board and there's plenty of space for any kind of sport you could think of. Beautiful scenery and not many people there during the week.
  • Great disc golf course. Good fishing. Nice baseball fields. 2 nice playgrounds for children.
  • The staff here take very good care of the park
  • Nice park, lots of picnic areas, ball parks and play equipment. Interesting to watch all the ducks, geese and other waterfowl on the lake.
