Take a thrill ride in Gotham City or cruise in Hurricane Harbor at Six Flags America. If you're an adrenaline seeker, you can ride up toward the sky before spinning, twirling and dropping down at 50 miles per hour. There are also more sedate options for all ages. Kids can ride through the park in a retro, child-sized train. Also a few live shows, with singing and dancing, are suitable for both kids and adults. To make sure you don't miss any must-dos, consult the park map when you arrive and plot out your visit. We got season passes and deluxe meal plans (they have there biggest sales on labor day weekends). We found it to be a great value. Go off season for the best experience, we normally only have between 2-4 people in front of us on rollercoasters, if any at all!. staff is friendly, happy, and seem to be enjoying themselves. The shows are great too and offer lots of variety. The only negative we have run into has been food service, they are often under staffed and poorly managed. I have waited 20+ minutes before just to place an order when there were only 2-3 people in front of me. Even foods like pizza, which is already sliced and just sitting in order a heat lamp can take nearly an hour to get. I have also been in food lines where only one person was working the stall, so they would take n order and then go cook the food before taking the next order. People in the food line get very irritated, and I have even seen people start yelling, shoving, and starting fights in the line due to how long the wait is and how often people get ignored after placing their order. The pizza place seems to be the absolute worst, and the Asian place seems to be the best/fastest so far. Other than crazy food wait times everything else has been great. our family loved holiday in the park. The lights were so pretty, and we can't wait to see how they further improve it next year with (hopefully) even more lights. the park even has a nativity scene/display for it you can view/read. If you take the train ride you might get to see a ton of deer :)
Great experience, didn't have to wait long in any lines. Most of the staff was polite. Only bad part was the food prices. $30 for 3 small slices of pizza. $5 bottle waters. But I guess that's typical of any amusement park. I suggest you bring your own food.
It was the worst entertainment experience of my life. Upon entering the park, I witnessed people fighting. I have a Season Pass and I was supposed to receive lunch, dinner and a snack. The person at the gate tried to scan my badge but it didn't work, so the girl at the snack stand wanted me to go back to the front gate to have my pass scanned, just to get my snack. I waited in line for one hour to hear the counter help tell me I could not get a snack because my Season Pass didn't work. Then I waited in line for another hour to get dinner. I asked five or six Associates where a particular section of the park was and they were unable to help me, (uninformed staff). People were fighting, cursing, and arguing all over the park. My sons encountered two groups of people line jumping to get on the rides. Upon exiting the park I was unable to directly access my car because a crime scene was taped off and my family and I had to walk several feet around it. Not a good experience at all.
Typical amusement park with rides and games, shows and characters. Clean park and fun for the whole family. The 'Flash Pass' is a great idea, although a HUGE rip off. If you buy a 'Flash Pass', buy the cheapest one, as the wait time is the same for the most expensive, as it is for the cheapest. As long as you have a 'Flash Pass' (you will be able to bypass the main line). There really is no system set up to give priority to those pay more for a shorter wait time. I must also mention the pour staff quality. Most of the staff that I encountered acted as if they didn't want to be there and did not care about park guests. Food stands had very slow service and rude employees. Ride staff DID NOT always check restraints, neglecting job quality and frankly guest safety for speed.
Well worth the money!!! My kids had a blast and I enjoyed seeing them happy!!! The only negative is I wish they would provide more shaded areas for people who don't ride the rides (Bag Person 😅😳).
