Nice place for an evening run. There is about a 1/5 mile paved track afford a pound. A couple of small inclines and a wooden bridge to run on. Usually some people fishing, ducks or grease swimming. more »

Lots to do at this park. Pond to fish in, or rent a paddleboat and explore. Good walking/running/biking trails around pond. Good playgrounds for the kids. Also a skatepark. And several ball fields (so... more »

Nicely laid out community park with both reserved and first come first serve picnic areas. Playgrounds are nice. 1 for playschool age and the other is all age and accessible. The pond has paddle boats you can rent on summer weekends and some holidays. Enjoy concerts every Sunday night in the summer also.

Beautiful. Tranquil. Clean & well looked after. Friendly atmosphere. Great playgrounds for kids. Paddle boat rentals on the weekends during summer. A good place to work out, have a picnic, or walk the dog. Free Sunday Summer Concert series is quite enjoyable and well attended.

I have mixed feelings about this park only because it's a great place to walk and look at the lake/pond. But there are a few things that they need to work on... for one, the water is filthy walking around with dirty water is not acceptable at all especially when there are ducks and swans in that pond. Another pointer is the bathrooms should be accessed at all times not locked until after the park closes. It is more than enough people at all times of the day to have access to the restrooms, people walking, exercising, eating and drinking water since it;s warm should have access to the restrooms. I will leave a picture of one of the most beautiful parks that I have been to and that is Lake Eola in Downtown Orlando Fl. I believe Allen Pond park can be a replica of this if officials get out of their own way.

I love bringing my sons here. There are 2 playgrounds based on your kids ages. That's awesome if you don't want your younger child to be playing around older kids. I love walking around the whole pond. Super pretty and always clean. Parking sucks, especially if it's beautiful out and the time of day but you have to be patient to find a space.

It's a great park. During summer, they have boat rentals available. The walk around the lake is nice, and it's well paved if your kids like to scooter or bike. 2 playgrounds for bigger and smaller kids. Plus the amphitheater which regularly has free music to listen to.
