Allen’s pond park has forever been the go to neighborhood park for me. Recently, I took a stroll through the gates, around the pond, past the skate park and alongside the beautiful turf sports field. ... more »
I love this park for taking long walks. Great watching the kids and their parents play and feed the ducks. more »
It's a great place to go for a walk. It's very beautiful and peaceful. The play area for kids is ideal and the picnic and barbecue areas are perfect for large or small gatherings. There is also an ampitheater where they have concerts and an ice skating rink. There is also a lovely lake where you can go paddle boating. I definitely recommend this park.
Nice place to take a walk in or have an event. Events hosted here are very fun and well administered. The fields are amazing to have games in and watch games. There isn't very much of a play ground for the kids but overall it's a great place.
Pretty. Nice path to go for a walk,or jog around the water. Lots of people walking their dogs each one adorable. Also nice spot to take photos.
Great park. Love the trails, Sunset concerts in the summer, play areas for kids, boathouse, the pond itself... everything.
We reserved an area of the park by the lake for a fellowship of a ladies ministry. Each area has plenty of tables and two grills, which we used. There is a ranger who rides around to ensure that everything is in order. The atmosphere is very nice and we had a ball. Reservations must be made in advance at the Bowie City Hall with a refundable deposit of $50.
