  • Glad to claim membership as a regular attender of SDRC - at least before COVID-19. I've not used the ice rink, sport court, or played racquetball, but I have used just about everything else. Great...

  • Loved going to the Bountiful aquatics center pool. They have a fun area for kids of all ages In the pool Gradual walk in the kids area where there is the water feature with 2 slides and lots if moving parts for spraying water. Parents/kids can go down slides together and floaties are allowed. Fun large yellow water slide that goes into about 4 ft water. No floating devices, no Goggles, and only 1 person is allowed down at a time. Long lazy river that winds around the slide. 2 basketball hoops In the water and deepest area if this section of the pool goes to 4.5 ft. Only downside to this pool is there isn't dividers from keeping kids from going to deeper water. BUT it is a very gradual. Deep end and diving boards are in another indoor pool. They also have a fun outdoor section that has a snake splash pad and pirates ship. 2 slides and deepest part is 3 feet. Right outside the locker rooms they have a cool rock wall section.
  • I have been attending the rec center for at least 15 years for workouts, classes, events, parties, etc…. It has a lot to offer. The skating rink is well maintained and fun. The pools have lots of fun with the splash pool and the lap pool. I believe midweek they put the ninja run in the lap pool. They do have various gym equipment with good views to work out. It is a good place for families, maybe not people who would like to work out in a place without children. I have seen children using the equipment that shouldn’t be using it. And I’ve also seen a lot of theft at this gym. Otherwise it really is a nice place to go or to have a birthday party. The classes and the instructors are pretty awesome too, but the classes are pretty packed and there is not a lot of room for movement. It’s still a really nice gym though I would just be careful to put something in the lockers and plan for people to be around unless you go in the middle of the day.
  • Great Place to Visit, Wonderful Environment, Family Oriented, Lots of Activities all under one roof. Gym, Basketball Court 🏀 Ice Rink, Water Park 💦 and Much More. Also I would like to give Special Recognition to the Girls in the Food Court because not only did they make my visit an Exceptional Experience with there Great Hospitality....The food was Amazing and for all these reasons I will definitely return every chance I get and I Highly Recommend t South Davis Recreation Center ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
  • As far as the pool and activities go we love this place! But your lifeguards/ “pool policies” are fun killing. Our daughter (5 years old) wanted to go down the slide by herself (first time ever) dad went down first. As he was waiting for her to come down we were scolded by one of the lifeguards on duty for waiting (to the side) at the bottom of the slide. Excuse us for wanting to make sure our 5 year old- who is working on her confidence in doing new things is okay. He did the same thing to a girl maybe 10-11 who was helping her little brother. That same lifeguard then followed right next to us as we went around the lazy river multiple times. (Like he was trying to catch us doing something else wrong) I’ve never heard so many whistles go off at a public pool while we were there. (Not for running) We even joked “NO FUN ALLOWED”. You can’t stand under the waterfalls? What are they there for? Maybe the cashier needs to give a list of exactly what we can and can’t do before we pay to get yelled at while trying to have a fun time.
  • This place has a lot to offer for families big and small. From the ice rink with fair offers for renting gear to the 4 pools on site. The Locker rooms were very clean and not to far a distance to the steam room and 4 pools.
