  • Of course McGuckin Hardware had exactly what I was looking for! Love this place even if I'm not looking for anything in particular. Great store to wander.  more »

  • It's just an Ace Hardware now. Nothing special. Used to be unique and carry the things that other hardware stores didn't. I live in another city and would typically drive to boulder just for this store. It used to have a small town business culture. The employees were friendly and helpful. Now it's just another corp store. I can go to Ace in my own city. RIP McGuckin!
  • I came in because my no-freeze faucet wasn't working properly and spoke with someone in plumbing. They diagnosed the problem and told me how to fix it, without me having to buy or replace any parts. The expertise that McGuckin employees have is priceless. I go there all the time to get their opinions and advice on a variety of projects and they never disappoint.
  • McGuckin's is like a hardware store of the past and they have EVERYTHING you can dream of. Including customer service. Our favorite place to go to look around and see what we "might" need. Love this place....It is a destination or sorts.
  • The one and only McGuckin! The most amazing variety...I have never seen such a selection in any hardware store I've come across. You can come up with just about anything you may need and McGuckin will likely have it. Employees are quick to help if you have a question.
  • This is THE most random store I've ever seen. There's just stuff everywhere, but the workers are very friendly and will help you find almost anything you need. I use tobuy all my architecture supplies there, they have EVERYTHING.
