  • I visited the Planetarium today and was so disappointed. I went to a Family show, that would not accept the Groupon that was offered because it was a special event period. As I did not want to try to ...  read more »
  • You can usually find a groupon to come here. It's a great place for a really hot summer day and you want to cool off but not move or a cold, snowy/rainy day. I've been here for numerous shows and rece...  read more »
  • This place is awesome. Their shows are great, and their technology is world class. I've been to lots of Planetariums, even worked in one for a short time, and this is the best.
  • Had a Groupon that said it was good for "any show" for 4 people, which was prepaid. Come to find out, the lady at the desk said that they changed the rules which were somewhere on their website (not the groupon) where all Summer that deal wouldn't work until September, although the groupon expired 9/11. After she initially charged me more than it should of, by just using the groupon value as cash it still ended up costing $70 when it all should of been $20. This place was run down, the interactive museum outside the planetarium was run down, screens were off and it was difficult to engage with kids with outdated equipment. This place is a total racquet and in it to steal money and cheat customers. Our family will never be back. Very disappointed. AVOID THIS PLACE!
  • Sad to say...please don't waste your money here. Take your kids and spend the money somewhere else. The zoo, the Denver Museum, IMAX theater...there so many other nice places in Denver. It's and old, outdated, very juvenile experience. It's dirty, run down, and extremely over priced.
  • Amazing setup and one of a kind experience. Definitely check it out if you like space.
  • The Daft Punk laser show was disappointing. The music was in mono and half the speakers were blown. The lasers were more distracting than anything. Save the $10 and watch an iTunes visualizer or a Windows screensaver. And that's only the show. The actual planetarium is completely run down and dated. You'd think a university with such a focus on space/astronomy would spend a few bucks to keep this place current.
