  • I find it very difficult to give a real, live physical bookstore a bad review. Perhaps it's because I'm not sure if it's a bookstore anymore. Maybe it's because twice while I was browsing books - once...  more »

  • Cute cafe and bookstore on Newberry St, lovely to sit outside on warm Boston day. The focaccia bread on sandwich though wasn't fresh, which ruined a possibly great lunch. Side salad unremarkable. All ...  more »

  • Trident is the quintessential independent bookstore that everyone needs in their life. Between their cozy cafe that serves all-day breakfast (quick service and fresh ingredients are included) and their maze of books (a plus in my mind) I could be there for hours and hours. In fact, I was. It was a great place to write.
  • How awesome is it to get great food and a vivid collection of books under one roof?? :D Yes, It's possible at Trident...Their sweet potato fries are to die for and their ongoing sale of books is a steal. For someone who loves to read and sip a coffee while doing so; Trident is the place.
  • Ambiance can't be beat! It's cozy and quant. The food however is just okay. Great place to go to enjoy a nice cup of coffee and read a good book.
  • Great books, great food. Gets busy, so get there early and put in a reservation (they will send you an SMS when your table is ready). The mega tater tot is particularly delicious.
  • Eating amazing food served by friendly staff while surrounded by great books... what more could I ask for? Two thumbs up!
