Where to stay in Boston

To stay close to where most of Boston's tourist action is, book a room at one of the many hotels located downtown, near the center of the city and state governments, businesses, and shopping. For a more affordable option, consider a budget-friendly boutique hotel or small bed and breakfast in one of the city's diverse residential neighborhoods. If you plan to stay longer and need a real home away from home, explore Boston's short-term rental options, which include private villas, waterfront lofts, and luxury apartments scattered across the city's historical districts.

  • I find it very difficult to give a real, live physical bookstore a bad review. Perhaps it's because I'm not sure if it's a bookstore anymore. Maybe it's because twice while I was browsing books - once...  more »

  • Super super cool place. Love the concept of bookstore plus cafe. GREAT green juice I got and a bunch of vegan options (which is amazing). Couldn't hurt to have more tho!
  • Great concept, very good food, super friendly service, reasonable pricing. A great local gem! Oh, and it's a great library too, found some good books!
  • Hippest place in town. Reminds you of why independent book stores are so important, with a great selection of thought-provoking magazines, staff-recommended books, and a restaurant -- with eggs all day (try the frittata)! Poetry slams and book readings at night. If you haven't tried it, stop by. You'll leave feeling a little happier.
  • Trident does a good job selecting books. I recommend coming to the Friday trivia and enjoying the upstairs cafe -- very friendly staff and great atmosphere.
  • Had a great dinner here. The atmosphere is fun, where else can you browse through a great book store and then sit down for a good meal! Great service and decent pricing.
