Home of the National Basketball Association Celtics and National Hockey League Bruins and host of numerous concerts and special events, TD Garden stands as one of Boston's leading entertainment venues. Originally known as the Boston Garden, the revamped arena seats almost 20,000 people and offers three private restaurants, 90 executive suites, and a multimillion-dollar, high-definition scoreboard and replay screen. If you don't have tickets for an event, you can still take a tour on which you will see how the trademark parquet floor is put together for a game, learn about the teams that play, and sit in executive seats. The arena also serves as Boston's northern station for its commuter and regional trains. With our world travel planner, Boston attractions like TD Garden can be center stage of your vacation plans, and you can find out about other attractions like it, unlike it, near it, and miles away.

TD Garden Reviews

Great venue, place is clean, modern and bright. Plenty of signage and help if you can't find where you need to be. All of the staff from the people who scan your tickets, to security, to the food and ... more »

I came here for a preseason game with my fraternity brother and could have been more impressed. The sight lines are excellent. The crowed was too. Mind you this was a preseason game, but the fans were amazing. I can't imagine how you'd come here and not have a great time watching Celtics basketball.

Great venue for sporting events (Bruins, Celtics) and for seeing any major artist in concert. As of this review, we were at a Bruno Mars sow - an incredible one too! As with any 19,000+ venue in any major city, food and drink are overly expensive. As for seating, I feel the best seats are the mid-level Loge or any Club seats located near the middle of the venue. Since TD Garden is part of North Station, you can use mass transit to reduce travel and parking costs. However, if you intend to drive from either north or south of Boston, I recommend using the North End Garage. It's a great choice because you will avoid all of the entering/exiting traffic to/from the event. However, expect to pay $40.00 for event parking. This is the going rate.

Arena has shaped up its interior restaurants and overall atmosphere over the years. While it can be busy from Celtics/Bruins games as well as North Station, they do a great job of getting people where they need to go. Facilities are also in good condition and security does a phenomenal job of keeping venue-goers safe.

Excellent venue. The place is clean, even the bathrooms. Workers are friendly and very helpful. Ample parking in the attached parking garage and you don't have to brave the harsh New England weather getting from your car to the venue. All in all, we have thoroughly enjoyed our trips here.

Great environment to watch a game. I came in to town to see the Bruins play my beloved Maple Leafs. The venue is way better laid out than many of the stadiums I've been to. Frequently spaced concession stands and bathrooms made the intermissions less of a struggle to get back to my seat before the period started. The local fans were also great, we had se good chirping going back and forth but nothing that went over the line. My friends and I never felt unwelcome and I know my entire group is pumped to visit again!
