  • Beautiful and imposing church located on Copley Square, near the Trinity Church and the Boston Public Library in the Back Bay Neighborhood. Worth the ride through the region.

  • A church considered to be very open and tolerant, for support and welcome fraternally and other believe that other social tendencies. Also involved in helping the homeless. A corner of Copley square, in front of the library. One of the oldest in the city

  • The outside architecture is beautiful/unique and very picture worthy. The inside contains beautiful stain glass windows. Entrance is free and the time spent to visit this church is well worth it. Also...  more »

  • Great speech by my best friend Professor Noam Chomsky last evening.
  • This church is really chock-full of history and easy to be overlooked by its Grandeur neighbor Trinity Church but take a few minutes and pop in and see it free admission
  • Quiet and nice :)
  • The church that really keeps its door open for everyone. Just be who you are here.
  • Old South is a vibrant community of believers, non-believers, friends, strangers, committed, single, alone, together, smart, silly and fantastic people. Part of the United Church of Christ, Old South provides people from all walks of life an opportunity to enjoy God's Extravagant Welcome. Open seven days a week to the general public (for free) the church is a beautiful example of a historically rooted, but modern minded faith community. Highly recommend popping in to take it all in, or even better join one of the four weekly worship services. You won't be disappointed, all are welcome, yes, even you.
