  • I have been to different museums and I am sure every Bostonian knows all museums in this great city is exceptional. Museum of Science is an extraordinary place for those who carry the will for learning. Does not matter how old you are, does not matter where you come from, does not matter what is your field of interest, you will have fun, a lot of fun, and you will learn, more than what you can imagine. First of all, the staff here are great people looking for an opening to make your visit even better. I'd like to list all of the bold parts of my experience with you here and let you enjoy the show when you actually visit it. 1- there are live presentation occasionally in different sections. Don't miss them, if there is a voice telling you " it will not be fun" just shut it out. It will be magnificent. You will see rare animals, will hear first-hand news, you will find yourself engrossed in the event, trust me. 2- museum is a large facility, so much to see and experience, so manage the time well, start your tour before noon, take a lunch break, and then continue, and my advice is, end your tour by visiting the "Future Exhibitions" section. 3- there are all kinds of sections and you will definitely find something that would make your time fly. Medicine, physics, math, nature,... 4- If I were to point out the significance of this place in one word, I would sum it up in "INTERACTIVE". You will have the opportunity of learning new body of knowledge by solving problems, answering questions, playing detective games, going through a sneak tunnel, ... 5- And finally, you will come back here for another tour for sure, because this place keeps ip with the latest info coming out everyday, so if you live in Boston, get a membership, if you don't, come and live in Boston, and get the membership :-) I also would like to thank the nice people working here, you made my visit a memorable memory, will see you again soon! Cheers
  • So much fun, even if you've been there a lot. My favorite parts? The Theater of Electricity is always fun, but not great for little babies or small kids as it gets very loud when they zap the Faraday Cage. My family also likes the special display by museum employees of their personal collections. Always varied. Membership really pays off if you live local. Great place to take the kids, and easy to get to from the highway.
  • Words cannot explain how much I absolutely love this Museum! There is so much to do for the children and you don't have to worry about them touching certain things because the museum is specifically for them to enjoy! I have been there about 3 times and I still have not seen the entire Museum! There is still so much to see and do and the light show or the electricity show is absolutely amazing! I could go there 20 times over and still amazed by how great this place is! You definitely have to go there!
  • Wonderful science museum! Great view of the city from this location. Museum members get discounts on parking, gift shop, and food purchases. Many interactive exhibits make it fun and appropriate for small children, and for kids at heart. Interesting history of science exhibits are fun for science nerds. The planetarium is a museum highlight. The museum gets crowded later in the day, so plan to go early if you want to avoid the crowds.
  • There's so much good to say about the Museum of Science, so I'll stick to a couple high points: 1. The planetarium is a really unique and fascinating experience, the programs the museum puts together do an excellent job explaining the why and how of space. 2. Many of the exhibits are hands on, and great for both kids and adults, being able to move things around and see the result as you do it makes science really come alive in a way that just reading and watching do not.
