Where to stay in Boston

To stay close to where most of Boston's tourist action is, book a room at one of the many hotels located downtown, near the center of the city and state governments, businesses, and shopping. For a more affordable option, consider a budget-friendly boutique hotel or small bed and breakfast in one of the city's diverse residential neighborhoods. If you plan to stay longer and need a real home away from home, explore Boston's short-term rental options, which include private villas, waterfront lofts, and luxury apartments scattered across the city's historical districts.

  • There's a great variety to the exhibits and much more than you could probably do in a single day. Lots of Hands-On stuff that's not only fun for kids but for adults as well. The sections are nicely color coded so that you can visit the type of exhibits that you're most interested in first. I'd recommend planning your tour online before you go. Pick what shows you want to see and leave plenty of time 4 the interactive things like seeing the Tesla coils and question-and-answer sessions.
  • It was a cool place. I definitely would enjoy this place more has a child but it had some awesome exhibits. I would come back here again, we were short on time. Tickets are 25, not including anything else like the planetarium and the 4d movie. I just love these places. Parking was great.
  • So much fun! I would have given it 5 stars but their ticketing system is crazy. They steer you to self service kiosks, which we went to 2 both didn't work, and then finally steered us to a person which worked but by that time I was charged twice and what a hassle to get a refund. The place itself though is awesome and so worth the money and a full day!
  • I love this place. This place makes me feel like a young kid again. I ran around trying out the experiments they had and its safe to say it was extremely fun. If I go back to Boston, I would definitely return. You could play and learn so many things. This place is definitely recommended to people who never went to Boston.
  • This place is a like a magical wonderland for children and the young at heart. Used my nifty Boston Go Card to visit on a Friday night, when it stays open until 9 PM. I highly recommend going on Friday because the crowd is minimal. We also so the Pink Floyd laser show at the planetarium and it was really cool.
