  • A friend told me about the Haymarket so I visited it on a bustling Friday afternoon. There were so many vendors selling so many interesting foods such as fruit, vegetables, fish, and more. The atmosph...  more »
  • We found this market by accident, coming off the Haymarket subway station and walking toward Quincy Market. The array of fruits and vegetables was awesome! My mother was lamenting that our hotel room ...  more »
  • It is a market which is located at the foot of the North End and which sells variety of fruits and vegetables, fish, seafood and nuts among other foods. Prices here obtained are very accessible especially in the sale of fruits and vegetables that are sold at very reduced prices already input the afternoon. A quite good place to buy food and quality at a very good price in Boston.

  • Great produce for cheap. Make sure you carefully inspect everything you buy, since the produce is often towards the end of its life. You can find fantastic deals on produce including berries, herbs, lemons / limes, and all sorts of veggies. Come later on Friday and Saturday to score the best deals, but be aware that it's crowded, cash only, and to check your produce. Scored three champagne mangos for $2, a pint of blueberries for $1, a pound of grape tomatoes for $1, and so on this past Saturday. Just be aware that you'll also have to eat the food soon!
  • Cheap groceries. But you have to select the best out of the lot. you get everything from Vegetables to meat to seafood (edible raw stuff as well!) Avoid going on Saturdays if you want to buy good stuff. Saturday evenings they sell stuff really cheap but the quality is not. It gets very chaotic on Saturdays and you may get pushed around more than usual.
  • Recommended for tourists. A place you can not miss out if you're visiting Boston again. Weekends have great deals sales of vegetables and fruits at good prices.
  • Very nice and new. Very impressed at the food markets inside. Easy to get to. Parking right overhead. The only complaint I have is what a mess the rest rooms were.
  • Oh my God!! Best market you can find in Boston! Super cheap prices for good stuff! You won't find everything you need and you have to be look for good vegetables and fruits, but you can make the best deals with ripe food! Watch out not to wait too long before you eat what you bought, because it will go bad quickly since it's not a farmer's market, but they sell the stuff that was in supermarkets for one week. You find a lot of organic fruit at the same price as well! Perfect to do homemade preserves!!
