Where to stay in Boston

To stay close to where most of Boston's tourist action is, book a room at one of the many hotels located downtown, near the center of the city and state governments, businesses, and shopping. For a more affordable option, consider a budget-friendly boutique hotel or small bed and breakfast in one of the city's diverse residential neighborhoods. If you plan to stay longer and need a real home away from home, explore Boston's short-term rental options, which include private villas, waterfront lofts, and luxury apartments scattered across the city's historical districts.

  • Fan Pier is located within the heavily congested Seaport District. It offers fine views of the Harbor and Downtown, and the park behind the Federal Courthouse is a nice place to sit in good weather.  more »

  • Nice views
  • I work at CoachUp, a startup in MassChallenge on the 14th floor of One Marina Park Drive (whose other address is 56 Northern Ave, by the way). The building is beautiful, with terrific ocean-side views, luxurious accommodations, accessible parking, and professional security. Strega, a restaurant on the 1st floor, provides pre-made gourmet sandwiches everyday, which makes for a building that offers tenants a complete package. Thus far, I've been really impressed with the cleanliness of the building, and also how sound-proofed the windows are. Planes and helicopters can be seen arriving and departing from Logan, however I have yet to hear one. All in all, 1 Marina Park Drive offers excellent accommodations for tenants, making this building a pleasure to work from.
