  • I 1st came across this lovely avenue a few years back with my teenage son, so never really got the chance to take it all in. Travelling back on my own this trip it was on my hit list to check it out p...  read more »
  • Lots of people watching. roller skate, ride your bike our do a slow stroll with a coffee in hand. I wouldn't seek it out but if your walking from A to B and you can choose this is a good one to travel
  • This is a very narrow long park walk with very cool statues at every intersection. It will take you all the way to Public Gardens. You can go off track and grab a drink or coffee in this area. I would...  read more »
  • The Commonwealth Avenue Malls are a stunning piece of civic infrastructure, anchoring one of the most beautiful collections of historic architecture in the city. This is a great path to simply stroll aimlessly if only to admire the surrounding aesthetic.
  • A beautiful walk in the city. The Mall is a great spot for those who live in BBY--I love walking down it on my way to and home from work and watching the seasons go by. Great area for kids to run around, for dog walkers, for people who want to sit on a park bench for lunch or to read, for historians (some really lovely monuments). A nice, less crowded alternative to walking down Newbury.
  • Mighty nice day to see SanFrancisco ,Common Wealth Ave Has beautiful homes.
  • Such a beautiful path to walk through. I don't live in the area but I love walking down the Mall when I get the chance. It's gorgeous around the holidays because they put up lights and the snow is beautiful. Definitely take a stroll down the canopied some time.
  • This strip of grass between two busy roads is surprisingly nice. Emerald green grass (in the nicer months) leafy trees, and people walking dogs or playing soccer next to the many statues and monuments. It's nice to be able to cross the street in the middle of the city and be in a bit of a park.
