Where to stay in Boston

To stay close to where most of Boston's tourist action is, book a room at one of the many hotels located downtown, near the center of the city and state governments, businesses, and shopping. For a more affordable option, consider a budget-friendly boutique hotel or small bed and breakfast in one of the city's diverse residential neighborhoods. If you plan to stay longer and need a real home away from home, explore Boston's short-term rental options, which include private villas, waterfront lofts, and luxury apartments scattered across the city's historical districts.

  • Guess this is very symbolic but really it , at least for me was nothing special. I would not go out of my way to see this, but it was on a walk I did.  more »
  • A wonderful tribute to a previous generation of Irish people. Great History lesson for current and future generations.  more »
  • A beautiful memorial. Definitely worth seeing. It's near the Freedom Trail. It's a very touching tribute to the Irish and what they endured to get to America.  more »

  • Nice place to sit outdoors when the weather is good. It's smack in the middle of downtown, and there's often something going on here (buskers, protestors, preachers, etc).
  • I'm Irish and I appreciate this memorial. It is important to remember the where we came from and the struggles of past generations. I wish there were more memorials like this for imagrants of all cultures.
  • Beautiful place to rest among public art and consider the devastating history promoting Irish emigration to America.
  • It's a statue inside Readers' Park
  • I like this out here.
